Rules & Participation
Choose 5 main numbers from 1 to 50 and 2 Euro numbers from 1 to 12. If your numbers match the drawn ones, you win. You win a prize starting from 2 matches + 1 Euro number.
The draws take place every Tuesday and Friday at 19:45 CET in Helsinki, Finland. Since 2022, there are two weekly draws instead of just one.
A single line costs €2,00 plus a small handling fee, which varies by provider. At Lottoland, there are regular special offers for new customers starting at €2.50 for 3 lines.
EuroJackpot is played in 19 European countries: Germany, Finland, Denmark, Netherlands, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Slovenia, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, Spain, Italy, Sweden, Norway, Iceland, Poland and Greece.
You must be at least 18 years old to participate in EuroJackpot. Strict age verification checks are carried out.
Winnings & Payout
The jackpot can grow up to €120 million. The minimum jackpot is €10 million. Once the cap is reached, excess funds flow into the second prize tier.
EuroJackpot has 12 prize tiers. You win starting from 2 correct main numbers + 1 Euro number (Tier XII, approx. €6). The overall chance of winning any prize is 1 in 32.
If participating online, you will be notified automatically by email. Alternatively, you can use our Prize Checker to compare your numbers with the official results.
For online participation, winnings are automatically credited to your account. Smaller amounts are available immediately, larger winnings may require verification. The jackpot is paid out as a lump sum.
In Germany, lottery winnings are tax-free. You receive the full prize amount – whether €6 or €120 million. Note, however, that taxes may apply in some other participating countries.

The odds of winning the jackpot (5 correct + 2 Euro numbers) are 1 in 139,838,160. However, the overall chance of winning any prize is 1 in 32 – significantly better than many other lotteries.
The record jackpot of €120 million was first won on July 22, 2022 by a player from Berlin. Since the cap was raised in 2022, this amount has successfully been reached multiple times.
The draw takes place in Helsinki, Finland, and is conducted by the Finnish lottery company Veikkaus. Results are available online a few minutes after the draw.
If no one wins the jackpot, it is rolled over to the next draw. The jackpot grows until it reaches the cap of €120 million or is won.
