EuroJackpot vs. EuroMillions
Europe has two giant transnational lotteries: EuroJackpot and EuroMillions. Both offer life-changing sums, but which one suits you best?
Jackpot Cap
EuroJackpot is capped at €120 Million. EuroMillions, however, can grow up to €250 Million. If you chase the absolutely highest numbers, EuroMillions wins. But EuroJackpot's cap means funds flow down to lower tiers more often once the cap is hit.
Winning Odds
EuroJackpot offers slightly better odds for the top prize (approx 1:140 Million) compared to EuroMillions (approx 1:139 Million). Wait, that's almost virtually the same. However, EuroJackpot often has better odds for lower individual prize tiers.
Participating Countries
EuroJackpot covers 18 countries including Germany, Scandinavia, and Eastern Europe. EuroMillions focuses on the UK, France, Spain, Portugal, and others. Germany and Spain participate in EuroJackpot (Spain actually participates in EuroMillions too? Yes, Spain does!).
